TIME FOR AN UPDATE

We are now about to start the second day of our Read-a-Thon, and I felt it's probably about time for an update.
How are  you getting on?
Are you getting as much reading done as you were hoping?
Do you feel you will read a total of 12 hours or is that going to be a struggle?
Or maybe you'll end up reading for more than 12 hours?
Write a bit about your reading experience so far, and share it with us by posting your link in the comment box.
Mine can be found here.

  2. Mash, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, but glad to hear there's nothing seriously wrong with her. Don't worry too much about the Read-a-Thon and the 12 hours reading time goal. This is supposed to be a fun thing, and as you can see, life can get in the way of what we would like to do. Chances are good that Kathrin and me will be organizing another one of these in the not too distant future, and then you can give it another go.

Gautami: I can't believe you already read two whole books. Wow, fantastic reading. I'm about half way through my second one by now, and although I hope to get this one finished before the 12 hours are up, I doubt if I'll read a lot more.

  3. Okay, I finally have my update up! I wanted to finish at least one book before I posted it: http://heidenkind.blogspot.com/2010/01/mystery-readathon-sunday-update.html

  6. Heidenkind: I'm sorry to hear your experiencing a bit of a reading slump, but it's great that you did finish your book, even if it was slow going. I'm looking forward to hearing what you decided to do next.

Carol: You've got the right attitude. 12 hours is just a number to aim for, the idea is for people to dedicate more of their time to reading mysteries than they normally would. I'm glad that worked for you, and hope that you'll enjoy STILL LIFE as much as I did. I love that series by Louise Penny.

Linda, I'm sure we'll be doing another one in the not to distant future, although I've no idea when exactly. Just keep an eye on our blog if you can.
